City Union Mission seeks an intern to work alongside Case Managers guiding clients out of homelessness through strengths-based case management. This role is perfect for those interested in homeless ministry and requires a high school diploma as well as being a mature Christian.

Interns will mentor guests, oversee daily operations, and work on a project to improve practices at the Men's Center. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience while serving your community in Kansas City.

Qualifications

• Must be a born-again, mature Christian able to communicate the Gospel.
• Desire to serve the Lord through varied responsibilities.
• Must have a minimum of one year of sobriety from alcohol and drugs.

Responsabilités

• Meet weekly with a caseload of 5-10 guests.
• Help ensure chapel service occurs at 11:30am.
• Perform hourly rounds to ensure safety.
