Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced respiratory care across Homecare facilities, hospital set ups, and patient homes in Provo, UT. The role supports CRT staff and may lead special clinical projects as designated by leadership.

The position offers full-time hours with a 40-hour week, shift flexibility, and on-call coverage. Applicants should be licensed, with NBRC credentials and BLS, and be dedicated to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution.
• Current State License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Specific certifications such as PALS, ACLS, NRP as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocols.
• Evaluate respiratory status using history, diagnostics, and response to therapy.
• Develop and adjust care plans based on outcomes and patient needs.
• Independently perform advanced respiratory procedures within scope of practice.
• Monitor progress and communicate findings to care team and physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and program initiatives.
