ComForCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the Governing Body (owners) in planning, developing, and directing programs, services, and staff across a new territory covering 11 NC/SC counties in the Suburban Metrolina Region. This role includes oversight of services provided and supervision of caregivers, ensuring compliance with North Carolina and South Carolina Home Care regulations. Responsibilities also involve care management and personnel management related to service delivery.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Develops and directs the agency's programs, services, activities, and staff, overseeing all home care services. Manages, supervises, evaluates, and develops client care teams to ensure quality and compliance within legal and regulatory frameworks, including the Nurse Practice Act. Hours may vary. Ensuring caregiver competency is critical.

Reports to: Governing Body

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• At least two years of nursing experience in an acute hospital or equivalent, with one year of supervisory experience in home care preferred
• Knowledge of relevant regulations at all levels
• Business management knowledge
• Proven supervisory skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Current CPR certification

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the agency
• Follow care plans tailored to patient needs
• Conduct home visits in designated areas
• Administer medications, wound care, and treatments
• Monitor and report client condition changes
• Follow up on doctor’s orders and document interventions
• Perform client assessments and case management
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated RNs to join our Monroe office, serving adult and geriatric clients across multiple counties in NC and SC. This is a per diem role, initially 2-10 hours/week.
