ComForCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the Governing Body (owners) to plan, develop, and oversee programs, services, and staff across 11 NC/SC counties in the Suburban Metrolina Region. This role includes oversight of service delivery and supervision of caregivers, ensuring compliance with North Carolina and South Carolina Home Care regulations. Responsibilities also encompass care management, personnel management, and maintaining quality standards within legal and regulatory frameworks.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Plans, develops, and directs the agency's programs, services, activities, and staff. Responsible for all home care services, supervising client care teams to ensure quality and compliance with laws, regulations, and Nurse Practice Act. Hours may vary. Critical to this role is ensuring caregiver skills and competencies.

REPORTS TO: Governing Body

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (transcript or diploma required)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital or equivalent, with 1 year of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements at state, federal, and local levels
• Knowledge of business management
• Ability to supervise clinical and administrative personnel
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Current CPR certification

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the agency
• Follow care plans tailored to patient needs
• Make home visits in designated areas
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments, procedures
• Monitor client conditions and report changes
• Follow and document doctors’ orders
• Conduct client assessments as needed
• Coordinate case management
• Accurately document client care activities

ComForCare HomeCare - Suburban Metrolina seeks compassionate RNs for our Monroe office, serving adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities across multiple counties in NC and SC. This is a per diem role, initially 2-10 hours/week.
