Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Stanford is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric patients in their own homes. The role offers hourly pay and shift options in local Stanford, Crab Orchard, and Waynesburg areas.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to assess and plan care, delivering services per orders, and monitoring patient status. Applicants should hold an active LPN/LVN license and BLS, with 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state of practice is required.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
