Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide home health care to pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. The role emphasizes professional nursing assessment, planning and direct patient care.

Ideal candidates are currently licensed as LPN/LVN, with BLS and TB/Chest X-ray on file; one year of nursing experience preferred. Competitive pay, benefits and weekly paychecks are offered.

Qualifications

• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing services per orders in the patient’s home.
• Monitor signs and symptoms and document nursing diagnoses.
• Collect and analyze data from health care team and adjust care as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
