Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric ventilator patients in their own homes in Statesville, NC. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Hourly pay ranges from $31 to $33 per hour.

The role includes pediatric home health nursing responsibilities and adherence to prescribed orders. Qualified candidates will be currently licensed LPN/LVN in the appropriate state, with a current TB test or Chest X-ray and a current BLS card.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVn in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
