Job summary

About Play, LLC in South Carolina seeks an Early Interventionist to serve birth-to-six children in Coastal/Low Country counties including Georgetown. Must reside in SC and have at least 1 year of experience with children birth to six.

You will provide family-centered services in home, daycare, or natural environments, conduct family training, and support families in development and parenting. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with on-the-job training offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary/early childhood education or related field.
• Plus 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years.
• Willingness for on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with delays or disabilities.
• Perform family training with the caregiver and child in their home, daycare or natural environment setting
• Provide training, education, and support to families in the areas of child development, parenting, and family functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote the development of the child.
• Monitor the progress of the child and family.
