Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Community Health Worker (Doula) to provide ongoing physical, emotional, and informational support to mothers before, during, and after childbirth. You will work across care settings to help families achieve the healthiest experience possible.

Responsibilities include prenatal consultations, labor support, postpartum and home-visit care, reminders for appointments, and assisting with access to healthcare services.

Qualificações

• Completion of accredited CHW training and Kentucky CHW certification.
• Completion of accredited doula and lactation program.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and internet.

Responsabilidades

• Conducting prenatal consultations to discuss birthing preferences and concerns.
• Providing physical, emotional and informational support to pregnant clients.
• Attend births and provide labor support to patients.
• Provide home-based care management and chronic condition visits.
• Conduct classes at multiple locations on rotating schedules.
• Contact patients prior to scheduled appointments to provide reminders.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
