Rocking Horse Community Health Center in Springfield, OH is seeking a dedicated Doula to support our OB team, providing continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during labor and the immediate postpartum period.

The role involves collaboration with the Newborn Coordinator for prenatal education, patient advocacy for social needs, and culturally competent care within a Federally Qualified Health Center setting.

Qualifications

• Must be Ohio Board of Nursing certified or equivalent per OH rules.
• Doula certification from a recognized organization (e.g., DONA) with training in bias and cultural competency.
• Experience with Medicaid billing processes is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuous emotional, physical and informational support during labor and shortly after delivery.
• Collaborate with Newborn Coordinator for prenatal education and care of the newborn.
• Assist with patient advocacy to address social needs prior to delivery.
