Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a Project Manager to conduct in-home sales consultations, assess homeowner needs, and align solutions with Hiller’s values. You will develop and present replacement/upgrade proposals and secure sales, processing orders with a collaborative team to ensure safe, efficient delivery of services.

The role emphasizes building relationships, negotiating toward value, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years sales experience in the industry.
• High school Diploma or GED; an Associate Degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of industry equipment and field concepts.
• Experience in service agreement sales and estimating.
• Strong relationship building, client-focused and disciplined.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and people skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
• Team player with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience.
• Follow up on sales leads and lists, including technicians and self-generated leads.
• Educate customers on service offerings using the Company’s Sales System.
• Recommend solutions and link objections to value and advantage.
• Demonstrate technical expertise with credibility.
• Evaluate client homes including comfort survey and load calculations.
• Write and present proposals effectively.
• Address resistance, negotiate value, and close sales.
• Complete paperwork accurately on all leads.
• Prepare financing paperwork and collect payments.
• Manage performance metrics scorecards.
• Be reachable by phone outside scheduled vacations.
• Participate in company training classes and maintain professional image.
• Follow safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
