Job summary

Lincare provides respiratory homecare equipment setup and related services in patients' homes, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP units, and oxygen equipment. You will educate patients, perform essential assessments, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Required are several years in home healthcare, with opportunities for training others. The role involves travel to patient homes and on-call evening/weekend coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Familiar with equipment and services provided in the home healthcare setting or other patient care.
• Minimum of two years in home healthcare.
• Minimum of three years in home healthcare with potential involvement in training others.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care according to needs and Lincare policy.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments following procedures.
• Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, PPE) and maintains safety.
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance and accurate written reports.
• Keeps patient records complete and organized per accreditation standards.
• Occasionally works on-call evenings and weekends; responds promptly.
