Job summary

Lincare is seeking an equipment setup specialist to install ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units in patients’ homes. The role includes providing technical assistance with equipment and performing comprehensive patient assessments.

You will maintain records, stay current with respiratory care knowledge, and follow safety policies. A valid driver's license and on-call evening/weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in home healthcare or patient home visits.
• Completion of training to obtain requisite certification/licensure.
• Ability to work in patients' homes and drive a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care, often in patients' homes.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments.
• Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques.
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual OSHA, DOT, FDA, and Emergency Planning policies.
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance and written reports.
• Maintains patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Works on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
