Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is hiring a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team in Wisconsin. The role involves setting up home medical equipment (ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, monitors) and educating patients on proper use, with a focus on safety and effective treatment.

Responsibilities include device setup, inspection, documentation, and staying current with respiratory homecare techniques. A reliable vehicle and ability to visit patients across the territory are required; on-call work

Qualifications

• Must remain certified, registered, or licensed by the applicable state or national board.
• State law and regulations may allow other clinicians to qualify (RN/LPN/LVNs/paramedics/EMTs).
• Reliable personal vehicle required to visit patients; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in residence state.
• Knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, ventilators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete, organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency depends on center size and staffing.
