Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing homecare team. The role focuses on setting up home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP units, ventilators, and nebulizers, and educating patients on proper usage.

Qualifications

• CRTs and RRTs are qualified for this position.
• Must remain licensed by state/national board.
• Must have reliable vehicle to visit patients; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Review prescription and patient information to determine treatment.
• Maintain patient records per accreditation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques.
• On-call after hours and weekends as needed.
