Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. You will set up and educate patients on home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and nebulizers, while ensuring safe operation and accurate patient records.

Responsibilities include equipment testing, reviewing prescriptions, and staying current with respiratory care methods. A valid license and reliable vehicle are required for territory visits; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• CRTs and RRTs are eligible for this position.
• Must maintain license/certification by state or national boards.
• Must have reliable personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in residence state.
• Knowledge of pulmonary function & rehab.
• Strong communication skills & computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records per accreditation standards.
• Stay current with respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as required (shift size-dependent).
