Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our homecare team in North Carolina. The role focuses on setting up home medical equipment, including ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP units, and educating patients on proper usage.

You will inspect and adjust equipment, review patient information per physician orders, and maintain accurate patient records. On-call duties will be required after hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP machines, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders
• Maintain complete patient records in accordance with accreditation standards
• Stay current on respiratory homecare techniques and concepts
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with frequency dependent on center size
