Job summary

AdaptHealth in Georgia seeks a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital environments, following all policies and procedures. The role includes training staff, equipment setup and troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate documentation for quality care.

Responsibilities include maintaining PAP equipment, coordinating with Respiratory Department staff, and ensuring HIPAA compliance while providing compassionate patient assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare-certified HME environment with insurance billing is preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks with clear instructions.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Report equipment hazards and incidents per policy.
