Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will work with CPAP/BIPAP programs, fit masks, perform maintenance, and ensure equipment is delivered and documented accurately.

You will train new hires, mentor teammates, and collaborate with respiratory clinicians while maintaining HIPAA compliance and safety protocols. The role requires travel across the service area and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with Medicare-certified HME environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with respiratory staff and program managers to provide equipment instruction and troubleshooting.
• Set up PAP/BIPAP equipment and fit masks; communicate instructions clearly.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and document delivery tickets and paperwork accurately.
• Promote services to referral sources and assist in ongoing quality improvement.
