Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver and instruct patients and caregivers on proper use of respiratory equipment and care procedures. You will ensure equipment operates correctly and support patients in problem-solving related to device use.

Responsibilities include routine follow-ups, documentation, equipment testing, and coordination with physicians to optimize home respiratory care plans. A state license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory program is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NBRC credentials as RRT preferred, CRT accepted.
• Must have current state professional license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in respiratory care.
• Experience with home medical equipment is highly desired.
• Current CPR certification and company health requirements required.
• Basic familiarity with Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and educate patients/caregivers on proper equipment use and respiratory care procedures.
• Perform routine follow-ups and equipment maintenance checks.
• Complete daily delivery logs, plans of care, and required paperwork.
• Inspect and test equipment for proper operation in field and office.
• Provide and evaluate respiratory care, coordinate services, and follow physician orders.
• Consult with referring physicians on patient treatment and home environment.
