Job summary

Lincare seeks a dedicated equipment setup professional to install and service respiratory therapy devices in patients' homes. You will provide patient education and perform comprehensive assessments while ensuring high-quality care and documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and adhering to safety regulations. Travel to patient homes with a valid driver's license is required, and on-call hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with home healthcare or patient care settings.
• Experience with equipment setup such as ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education as part of patient care activities according to patient need and Lincare policy.
• Performs complete patient assessments in accordance with policies and procedures
• Maintains current knowledge of home healthcare techniques and respiratory therapy concepts
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, Emergency Planning)
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance and written reports
• Facilitates prescription collection
• Maintains patient records in compliance with accreditation standards
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled; respond timely
