Job summary

Lincare seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver and instruct patients and caregivers on the proper use of respiratory equipment and care procedures, ensuring effective operation and problem-solving in equipment use. You will perform routine follow-ups, maintain delivery logs and care plans, inspect equipment, and coordinate with physicians.

The role requires AMA approved program graduate, NBRC credentials preferred, state license, CPR, and 1 year in respiratory care; home equipment experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory program is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NBRC credentials (RRT preferred, CRT accepted).
• Current state professional license is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in respiratory care is required.
• Experience with home medical equipment is highly desired.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care and educate patients and caregivers on equipment use.
• Conduct routine follow-up contacts and equipment maintenance checks.
• Complete daily delivery logs, plans of care, and required paperwork.
• Inspect and test equipment for proper operation in field and office.
• Coordinate respiratory services and consult with referring physicians.
