Mosaic in Nebraska invites caring individuals to open their home and become part of a family-based living arrangement that supports a person with an intellectual disability. Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must reside in the state of Nebraska
• Own or rent a home (home, apartment, condo, or townhouse).
• Active homeowner’s or renter’s insurance.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance.
• Internet access and basic computer skills.
• Ability to complete required screenings, background checks, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and decision-making.
• Assist with medication administration and medical appointments.
• Help someone build connections, participate in their community, and feel a sense of belonging.
• Provide transportation and support with daily activities as needed.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with Mosaic support team.
• Help someone build confidence, independence, and pursue personal goals.
