Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks experienced Physical Therapists to deliver in-home and community-based neuro rehabilitation across San Leandro, Novato, Oakland and surrounding regions. Therapists assess, treat, and empower clients with brain injuries, stroke, and other neurological conditions to regain independence.

You will work autonomously within an interdisciplinary team, with a flexible schedule, paid hourly compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state practiced.
• BLS or CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of neurorehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and handle patients up to 100 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, provide home and community safety recommendations
• Communicate patient needs and progress to treatment team, physician, patient and family
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes
