Comcast Technology Solutions is seeking an entry-level broadband installation technician to join our home-service team in Tuscaloosa. You will install new services, restore connectivity, and ensure a positive customer experience in customers' homes and neighborhoods.

The role involves physical work, flexibility for nights and weekends, and ongoing training. Compensation includes base pay and quarterly bonuses with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certifications (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety codes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network connection to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks using coaxial, Ethernet and Wi‑Fi.
• Verify service quality using testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services, and device use.
• Document work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment; report safety concerns promptly.
• Operate ladders, meters, and power tools safely.
• Meet safety standards and company procedures.
