Job summary

Comcast Advertising is hiring a Residential Installation & Service Technician in Nashville to perform installation and troubleshooting for voice, video and data services. You will work in customers’ homes and neighborhoods, handling installations, service changes, and disconnects with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires physical work, reliability, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with increasing proficiency and less on-site supervision
• Compliance with safety requirements and training/certifications as needed
• Ability to work in diverse environments and weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety practices and codes
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network to customer equipment
• Install and support home networks using coaxial, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi technologies
• Document completed work and update customer accounts using digital tools
• Maintain and prepare vehicle and tools; report safety concerns promptly
• Operate ladders, meters, and power tools safely; work at heights up to 26 ft
• Drive company vehicle and complete training, background checks, and licensing as required
• Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
