Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and other care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety and comfort, and maintain equipment according to policy.

Primarily field-based with daily patient visits, this role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to meet PPE and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery or healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred; senior roles need 2+ years.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of HME products, services and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues, including emergencies.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain home oxygen systems during visits.
