Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or other care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe use, proper maintenance, and independence.

Primary duties include equipment delivery, routine preventative maintenance, documentation, and participation in on-call coverage as needed; a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues, including during emergencies.
• Maintain home oxygen systems through patient visits.
• Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Complete required compliance training and participate in on-call rotation.
