Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe, effective use and ongoing independence.

Daily duties include equipment setup, routine maintenance, and coordinating with care teams. A valid driver's license is required, and prior healthcare field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, clean, and maintain equipment per policies and safety standards.
• Process orders and complete documentation to support patient care and reimbursement.
