Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Supervisor, Operations to oversee branch operations, lead a logistics team, and ensure timely delivery of home medical equipment and services. This role collaborates with leadership, health systems, and referral sources to enhance patient care.

The position requires an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) and at least five years of HME leadership experience, along with strong communication and analytical skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five (5) years’ experience in HME leadership is required.
• Relevant experience in health care, insurance customer services, claims, billing is preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and distribution of medical equipment and services to patients’ homes.
• Lead logistics team with daily direction and communication to ensure timely, efficient deliveries.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with department leaders to maintain timely, safe patient services.
• Place purchase orders per restocking protocol and control branch-level inventory.
• Identify service concerns, trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to resolve issues and improve patient experience.
• Perform root-cause analysis of service failures and implement improvements.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information and confidentiality.
• Establish goals and coach staff to achieve productivity and safety metrics.
• Support on-call coverage during non-business hours.
