Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across one or more branch locations, coordinating delivery, warehouse, and clinical staff to ensure timely distribution of medical equipment and services at patients’ homes. The role requires an associate degree and at least five years of leadership experience in HME or healthcare, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Five years of leadership experience in HME or healthcare leadership.
• Relevant experience in health care, insurance customer services, or claims/billing preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site leader for on-site location(s) and appoint a designee during absences.
• Oversee daily branch operations including Delivery, Warehouse, Logistics, and Respiratory staff.
• Manage branch budget, monitor financial performance, and control costs to meet profitability targets.
• Ensure branch services comply with federal, state, local regulations (CMS, Health Dept, DOT, FDA, OSHA).
• Oversee fleet management and driver safety, and ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain relationships with physicians and referral sources, coordinating patient care reports.
