Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to provide in-home delivery of durable medical equipment to Apria patients. You will load, deliver, and pick up supplies, and may assist with basic equipment usage instructions within regulatory guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. A three-year driving history is preferred for safety compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least one year related experience.
• Must be 21 years or older at time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment and supplies to patients in the home.
• Instruct patients on basic use of equipment when appropriate.
• Load and unload equipment from delivery vehicle and maintain vehicle logs.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call.
• Maintain patient profile records and complete daily delivery logs and forms.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards per state and regulatory requirements.
