Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc seeks a dedicated Customer Service Technician to deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies at patients’ homes. You will instruct patients and caregivers on proper use and provide customer service in person and by phone to patients and referral sources.

Essential duties include documentation, coordinating insurance verifications, and maintaining equipment and the delivery vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with medical equipment preferred.
• One year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and maintain medical equipment and supplies at patient homes.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on safe, proper use of equipment.
• Provide patient and referral source customer service by phone and in person.
• Coordinate with Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance information as needed.
• Maintain company vehicle and complete delivery paperwork.
