Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to educate patients on equipment use. The role includes training patients, managing routes, and maintaining a clean vehicle. A valid license and DOT/FMC familiarity are required.

Applicants should be able to lift heavy loads, work evenings/weekends on-call, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Read and understand DOT and FDA paperwork; maintain safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle and loading/unloading safety.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and team members.
• Maintain vehicle and warehouse cleanliness; follow FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation in evenings and weekends as needed.
