Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to provide equipment setup and patient education. The role involves following routes, maintaining vehicle safety, and working with patients and internal teams.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of driving experience. CDL is not explicitly required; physical requirements include lifting 50+ pounds and meeting DOT/FDA paperwork standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience required.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must be good with people, with excellent speaking and writing.
• Must maintain a valid driver license for appropriate class of vehicle.
• Read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse.
