Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to perform safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment, educate patients on equipment use, and provide setup. The role includes on-call rotations, patient interaction, and compliance with DOT/FMC regulations.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required, with a minimum of one year driving experience. Candidates should have strong customer service and communication skills, be able to lift significant weights, and maintain

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
Home care/health care background is a plus.
Must have a valid driver's license and be aware of DOT/FMC regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and 15+ pounds above the shoulder.

Responsibilities

Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and internal team members.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for patient medical emergencies.
