Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to educate patients on proper equipment use. You will follow routes, inspect the vehicle, and maintain patient relations while upholding FDA and DOT requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of professional driving, and the ability to lift heavy loads; Home care background is a plus, with on-call shifts in the evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address patient medical emergencies.
