Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment. You will provide equipment setup and educate patients on proper usage, while following patient orientation checklists and maintaining routes and schedules.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspection, safety adherence, and on-call support for emergencies. A GED or high school diploma is required, with minimum driving experience and a valid license.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork.
• Excellent speaking and writing with people skills.
• Must lift 50+ pounds unassisted and more with assistance.
• Must maintain a valid D/L for appropriate vehicle class.
• Able to work in restricted spaces and heavy loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety.
• Establish and maintain relations with patients and team members.
• Ensure cleanliness of vehicle and comply with FDA protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation for patient emergencies.
