Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team, delivering home medical equipment to patients and providing equipment setup and training on its proper use.

The role requires driving safely, following routes, and maintaining equipment and vehicle; on-call rotations may include evenings and weekends. A High School diploma and driving experience are required, with physical stamina to lift 50 lbs or more. CDL where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Non-CDL drivers may be 18+; CDL drivers may be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and loading/unloading safety.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, complying with FDA protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations during evenings and weekends for patient emergencies.
