Job summary

Lincare is hiring a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to provide equipment setup and patient education. The role requires clear communication with patients and internal teams, along with strict adherence to routes and safety protocols.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of driving experience, and a helpful background in home care/health care. On-call shifts may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address patient medical emergencies.
