Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to educate patients on equipment use. Responsibilities include following orientation checklists, adhering to routes, and maintaining vehicle safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of professional driving experience. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License and meet DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
• Excellent people skills with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to routes and schedules; maintain safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and safety during loading/unloading.
• Build positive patient and internal team relationships.
• Maintain vehicle and warehouse cleanliness and FDA-compliant practices.
• Support on-call rotations during evenings/weekends for patient emergencies.
