Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients and to provide equipment setup and patient education on proper use.

The role includes adhering to routes, maintaining vehicles, and building positive patient relations in a on-site setting. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of professional driving experience, and the ability to lift heavy items and read DOT/FDA paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to routes and schedules.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle.
• Build strong relations with patients and staff.
• Follow FDA and DOT protocols and policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation during evenings and weekends.
