Job summary

Meals on Wheels People in Oregon seeks a Home Delivery Coordinator to supervise volunteers, organize meal routes, maintain client records, and ensure safe, compliant delivery of meals to homebound seniors. You will handle eligibility assessments, data entry, and community partnerships while upholding trauma-informed, person-centered service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in volunteer engagement and community outreach.
• Certified food handler or ability to obtain certification within two weeks.
• Bilingual abilities with English and another language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteers and scheduling for home-delivery routes.
• Organize routes and route books with accurate delivery information.
• Perform client eligibility assessments and documentation.
• Ensure food safety and regulatory compliance in deliveries.
• Maintain client records and service data, including start/modify/terminate info.
• Support outreach, partnerships, and community programs.
