Meals on Wheels People, Inc. is seeking a Home Delivery Coordinator in Gresham, OR to supervise volunteers, manage routes, and ensure safe, compliant meal delivery to seniors. You will collect client data, coordinate partnerships, and uphold a compassionate, trauma-informed service ethic.

The role emphasizes operational accuracy, client well-being, and engaging with community programs while supporting organizational goals and fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, supervising, and retaining volunteers.
• Fluency in at least English; additional languages welcome and valued.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications within stated timelines.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, regulatory, and program standards; prepare for inspections.
• Conduct client eligibility assessments and reassessments with accurate documentation.
• Maintain client records and service data including start info, modifications, and terminations.
• Manage meals delivery according to Meals on Wheels People standards.
• Organize routes and route books with accurate delivery data; adjust as needed.
• Handle missed deliveries and client wellness concerns; document and escalate as required.
• Provide trauma-informed, person-centered client support and referrals.
• Assist with hunger relief and supplemental meals for clients in need.
• Coordinate meal services for partnerships and contracts; manage ethnic meal offerings.
• Recruit, screen, onboard, train, schedule, and engage volunteers; verify records and background checks.
• Complete administrative duties and reporting; assist with outreach and events.
