Job summary

Wilder seeks a team member to support Meals on Wheels operations, ensuring safe, reliable delivery of meals to older adults. You will handle storage, packing, and daily routes, while coordinating and supporting volunteers and preparing materials for drivers.

You'll ensure food safety, respect dietary needs, and deliver friendly customer service by phone and in person, helping the program run smoothly in the community.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Experience working with older adults and families from diverse backgrounds preferred.
• Experience coordinating or overseeing volunteers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for storage, packing, and delivery of meals.
• Coordinate and support program volunteers and oversee scheduling.
• Prepare daily routes and materials for volunteer drivers.
• Deliver meals to clients' homes when volunteers are unavailable.
• Ensure food safety practices and accommodate special dietary requirements.
• Provide responsive, respectful customer service by phone and in person.
