Job summary

Webster First Federal Credit Union in Millbury, MA is seeking a Mortgage Processor to ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant throughout the process from application to funding.

You will support the mortgage servicing team, maintain proactive member communication, and ensure adherence to ECOA, RESPA, HMDA, and Regulation Z, delivering a smooth, timely loan experience while adapting to process changes and new technologies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in mortgage processing or related lending role.
• Knowledge of Encompass Mortgage Software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily mortgage pipeline with emphasis on timely processing of loan packages and adherence to turnaround times.
• Maintain understanding of Webster First Federal Credit Union mortgage products and services.
• Prepare and send compliance-related documents to members accurately and on time.
• Provide proactive communication with members throughout the loan process and update statuses in systems.
• Document all member, loan officer, and underwriter correspondence in the loan file.
