Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a motivated Loan Officer to guide clients through the loan application process and assess creditworthiness. You will evaluate financial documents and provide options, terms, and eligibility guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with underwriters and processors to streamline approvals, maintain strong client relationships, and help achieve sales targets. A valid NMLS license and prior loan experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial role.
• Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting processes, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to assess financial documents and analyze creditworthiness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software.
• NMLS license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications and determine creditworthiness by reviewing financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information.
• Provide expert guidance on loan products, terms, and eligibility requirements.
• Process loan applications, obtain necessary documentation, verify data, and ensure forms are completed accurately.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent service throughout the loan process.
• Communicate clearly with clients about loan options, repayment terms, and risks.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and team members to ensure smooth loan approvals.
• Monitor progress of applications and assist clients with questions or issues.
• Aim to achieve individual and team sales goals by promoting and closing loan products.
