Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician training completed or pursued.
• State Board of Pharmacy requirements apply where required.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare settings preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Registered with State Board of Pharmacy if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow SOPs, USP 797, and Board regulations.
• Clean all work surfaces and equipment per USP 797 and SOPs.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Ensure drugs are properly labeled and in appropriate containers.
• Monitor environmental conditions daily and report deviations.
• Maintain On Track Task Logs daily.
• Coordinate timely refills to avoid treatment interruptions.
• Upload delivery tickets and confirm on file with Admission Agreement.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and document all details.
• Order medications to maintain inventory and meet patient needs.
• Enter supplies into inventory system (Vital Systems).
• Store drugs and supplies safely and maintain organized workspace.
• Inspect shelves to prevent shortages and reorders.
• Conduct monthly inventory of ambulatory infusion supplies.
• Report misconduct or unethical activities to HR.
• Build positive relationships with clients and provide proactive support.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with team and patients.
• Assist with quality control and performance improvement as directed by PIC.

Education
