TSI Raleigh, LLC. in Charleston, SC seeks an Home Infusion Compounding Technician to assist with sterile preparations and patient supplies under the supervision of a pharmacist.

You will follow USP 797, SOPs, and regulatory requirements while maintaining clean, organized work areas and accurate documentation. The role involves monitoring environmental conditions, managing inventory, documenting patient interactions, and ensuring timely medication refills.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State Board of Pharmacy registration if applicable in the service area.
• Completion of pharmacy technician training is preferred.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting is preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow SOPs, USP 797, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Clean work surfaces, equipment, floors, ceilings and walls per USP 797.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Ensure drugs are prepared in appropriate containers and labeled.
• Monitor environmental conditions and report out-of-range readings.
• Maintain On Track Task Logs daily.
• Manage timely refills to avoid treatment interruptions.
• Upload and confirm delivery tickets when Admissions are on file.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and document thoroughly.
• Order medication to keep inventory stocked and patient needs met.
• Enter supplies into the Vital Systems inventory.
• Store drugs safely and maintain organized workspace.
• Inspect shelves to prevent shortages and reorder as needed.
• Conduct monthly inventory of ambulatory infusion supplies.
• Report misconduct or unethical activity to HR.
• Build positive relationships with clients and provide attentive support.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, patients, and referral sources.
• Assist with quality control and performance improvement as directed by the PIC.

Formazione
