Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion at Caring for People Services provides skilled nursing care to patients in home infusion programs. You will assess, manage vascular access, administer therapies, educate patients, and ensure compliance with state laws and accreditation standards.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, ability to work independently in patients' homes, and collaboration with physicians and care teams. A valid RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• 3 years' RN experience in infusion, ER, clinical or related specialty.
• Critical care experience preferred (infusion) 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive initial and ongoing nursing assessments for home infusion patients.
• Manages peripheral IV access and central venous devices as applicable.
• Delivers prescribed infusion therapies and monitors for adverse events.
• Educates patients and caregivers on medications, aseptic technique, and line care.
• Documents thoroughly per state laws, policies, and CHAP standards.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team; participates in on-call rotation.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and infection prevention in the home setting.
